A medical or surgical need requires immediate attention and close, constant care. That’s exactly what patients will find in Howard Memorial Hospital’s Critical Care Unit.

Our specially trained registered nurses provide 24-hour care for patients with critical medical needs, including those suffering from heart attack, stroke, diabetic emergency or post-operative complications.

The staff is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and the unit is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and medications to ensure life-saving, critical care is available in our community.
