Cardiopulmonary Services

The mission of Howard Memorial Hospital’s Cardiopulmonary Services is to provide cost-effective, quality care in a variety of settings to meet the respiratory needs of our patients. Our team believes that through education, they can work with patients and their families to make them a vital part in improving breathing and maximizing quality of life.

Our cardiopulmonary providers also work closely with a patient’s primary care provider to determine the best course of treatment.

Cardiopulmonary services at HMH include:

  • Inpatient respiratory care
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Updraft therapy
  • Ventilatory management
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
  • Electroencephalogram (EEG)
  • 24-hour heart monitoring
  • Arterial blood gas analysis
  • Pulmonary function testing
  • Sleep Lab
  • Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation
